About The Health Coach
The Health Coach was created to help people be healthier, understand their own body, and move their body with right technique. Seeing that more people get injured and not knowing what to do or do not feel like they regained full movement even though they done physiotherapy a health coach is able to dive deeper into the problem and work alongside you, though you are able to regain full movement. The Health Coach started out after noticing how many people have problems in their daily life and/or are no longer able to move the way they used to and seeing that exercises/movement is helping people to improve their lifestyle and quality of life.

Services

Nutritional advice
Looking at your nutrition including macro- and micronutrients, adjust your diet so you reach the goals you set. Help you understand food and how it effects and affects your body. Make small adjustments over a longer time though you are able to maintain your new diet.

Pre- and Rehab exercises
Prehab exercises are done before you have any surgery. It helps to build muscle/strength though you are able to start with movement earlier and progress faster.
Rehab exercises are done after you had a surgery or any form of injuries, health issues that need recovery time and exercise.
Both exercise groups are done with the latest proven exercises on the market.

Looking at your health and/or wellbeing and the possibilities you have to change your wellbeing. Here we explore why your health and/or wellbeing is not the way you would like and what options you have to embrace your health and/or wellbeing

Stefanie Mayer
Health Coach/Principal

Stefanie is originally from Germany and a qualified nurse overseas. She travelled the world for a few years until she came to New Zealand and is calling New Zealand home now. Stefanie lived in Taupo for 4 years and in that time was very active with CrossFit. Her coach always prioritised technique over adding weight, therefore it became very important for her to use proper technique with any movement she is using. When she moved to Southland, she decided to study applied health science to increase her knowledge regarding health and wellbeing, pain, nutrition, and exercise for any health conditions (cardio, metabolic, pulmonary,...).
After she finished her studies she decided to start The Health Coach to help people along their way and see their progress in life.
